Hey guys I'm kinda new to map making and this has always frustrated me.
When I make a crate and rotate it the textures dont stay with it they
move around. I've been able to fix the sides but the tops are the
corners of the texture instead of whole thing. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Perhaps the texture lock is off?

Oh, and don't save your work as a .map file. It seems that this format causes al sorts of weird texture flaws.

Goto "Tools" and click "Texture Lock" so they don't move around when you move the box.

Secondly, to align textures and apply individual textures to faces
press Shift + A to bring up the "texture applicator" or whatever it's
called.

You can select individual faces by click on them in the 3d view.

In the situation of a crate, the easiest thing to do is click a face and hit "fit".

Anything else?
