After seeing a few posts on the subject 'Resi Evil 4' i had the idea to make a map based on it but i have not played it so i wanted to suggest it to anyone here who has played it!

It looks like a great game and after reading a post about a map being made, based on a haunted house it gave me the idea and i wanted to share it with the world!

Well, I have not played it. I like the idea of a haunted house/mansion though.

I might get to work on created a big haunted mansion full of traps, secret passages and other stuff like that.

Well, i would really suggest for you to do a map based on a resident evil theme, i played all sequels of resident evil, and i like 4 the most, so it may be nicer as a SinglePlayer, better than DM, because that way you can put the zombies and headcrabs, and make zombies attacking the building or something, and you and 2 other guyz have to defeat them all, and have limited ammo, so if you are out of ammo, you have to go fight them with your crow bar :biggrin: , thats only an idea, but i really like seeing a map that has RE4 theme :heee:

I am a CSS mapper.

I was thinking about doing a very large haunted mansion. Having lots of traps and hopefully using logic_ and lots of other entities. I can make it so that every round the traps are in a different place so that you never know what is going to happen

Very nice idea too, wonder if that works in HL2:Dm, traps change every 5 mins ??? :rolleyes:

Resident Evil 4 never takes place in a Haunted House. It takes place
around villages, docks, castles, and construction sites. I was thinking
of implenting a Resident Evil 4 type part to my map, where players walk
along a village and it is attacked.
