oh no...

So I was on my computer last night, here on Snarkpit and on MSN, then all of a sudden, my monitor went dead. The screen went black and a few white lines flashed for half a second then it died. Ever since, when I turn the monitor on, the light on the button goes on for a second then dies again.

Has anyone else ever had this happend to them?

My monitor died. I rang up CTX and they sent me a new one on next day delivery, which also collected the old one. My monitor came with a 1 year warranty and was out of warranty, but they had extended all existing warranties to 3 years, of which I had about 2 weeks left. The only annoying thing was that I had to find a box to put the broken one in for when they collected it.

it's appalling isn't it, how you have to find a box?
