Basically it just needs more detail all-around, 'tis what those NS cretins look for in their maps. All of the floors and ceilings that I can see are flat as a rat pancake. Lighting's pretty good, though, maybe a bit too bright though since Skulks/Lerks are gonna want some place to hide.

disagree about the flooring, Its solid & stable. Agree about the lighting, Its not moody enough, Its not dark enough to creep in. If I were to change 1 big thing in the map from what I can see, Its definately the lighting.

Hi Thursday  I can't see anything wrong with those screenies really. The ceilings aren't flat... look at the first screenshot. I think the main thing to put in is stronger lighting which will in turn create stronger shadows to hide in. However you don't have to do this... tanith/eclipse/veil dont really have anywhere (other than vents) that a skulk can walk along unseen due to the dark.

the floor just under the hive in the last pic... the texture is tiled there several times and it is quite noticeable.
maybe you can strech it somewhat or us a texture that does not have such hard lines.

... or maybe align it so the edges of the texture line up with the edges of the brush and stretch it accordingly.
otherwise, the map looks great!

I dont know about you, but if I knew them things were creeping around my house, I would have every light on.. Screw the darkness.. =) But as it seems these things have set up base in this area of the map, I would dim the lights as well, as I am sure they dont like it.
Looks good to me.. Never played or mapped for NS, so I dont know much about it. Looks like fun though.. kinda like Aliens Vrs Predator, or StarCraft meets Half Life.
