Today I finally got my new domainname, www.captain-p.com, to work. So, now that my portfolio has a decent domainname, I'd like to know what you think about it.

It's focussed on maps, programs and art mainly. Oh, and indeed, saturday I turned 19... forgot to say that here...

It's quite minimalistic, which isn't a bad thing, but it could look better  Obvious suggestion is to make your buttons into GIFs instead (the compression is quite obvious right now) and perhaps use some more colours...

Mhh, I'll look at those buttons. As for colours, the pages filled with
text look somewhat boring, I noticed, but I'm unsure of what other
colors I can use to bring some variation without breaking up the
overall design. It seems little other colors fit with the direction
I've chosen now...

Yea; it's definitely too minimalistic. Look at the top of this page: maybe you need some sort of logo (doesn't have to be an alien predator), smaller fonts, a background pic maybe... The "on mouse over" effects are nice, but not enough; it needs more animation. Well good luck!

1 thing i could say is that your I frame doesnt go all the way accros (
wether that is my pc or not, or possably you have made it a certain
size. ) well just saying you might want to make it possible to go
"100%" insted of fixed pixels <-- if thats what youve done.

Its nice though i like it but i agree its a bit bland.

Thanks for the comments.
The title bar and the buttons are definitely worth a workover. As for the text blocks, I've used a set width in pixels, but now that you mentioned it, putting it at 100% doesn't hurt.

I'm thinking, perhaps some icons in news posts would make it a little less bland?
