After vewing others remakes im going back and ovehauling a LOT of this. The screens currently are in tranisition ones. I am new to most of this and really love it. So any comment is helpfull. I stated out with a re-make to get my feet wet in the mapping world. Working my way up to a decent original map.

Hey I made this map to get my feet wet in the CS:S mapping arena. I wanted to start out witha re-make to ease my way into it. I have not found a place to host the .bsp so i can not share the map in its entirety. (Suggestions would be great) From the screenshots right now, I would appreciate a critique. (There will be more screens in the future.) #1 screen is the CT spawn point. #2 screen is the security room used by the CT's (It contains the cameras and security monitors to spy on the T's) #3 screen is viewing the warehouse and side road. Crits would be appreciated.

Well the map could be put into a pit if LEP is still doing that, or there are many on-line free storage options.. fail all of that send it to me, i'll put it on my web space for a limited time until another option can be found.
Looks alright from the pictures.. I have always hated that map though. But I am willing to give it a try.. it cant be any worse than the current ones out there... im hoping its far better to be honest.

Yeah as i said, this map is made for me to refine my
skills, more so than to have a really good playing map. Theres to many
assault re-makes out there, and I won't try to compete yet. Im still
getting used to optimizing maps for playability and this map needs
help. The 3d skybox needs lots of polishing as does the interior of the
warehouse ( I HATE the lighting). Though i've managed to make it so
that when a transformer outside the building is blown up the warehouse
goes dark save a few emergeny red lights, it really incourages the CT's
to get night vis goggles. The map is not ready for play in any sense of
the word. I really would like suggestions on how to optimize it and
increase the playability so i can apply it to my future maps. I'm
looking towards the more experienced mappers to help me along my way.

Yours looks pretty good so far and much better than my remake which I gave up on... (maybe I will finish it in the future)
Anyway I played a remake similar to yours but I prefer that one because of the sunset, good props, and excellent architecture!

The archway is wrongly proportioned... Also no pics of the inside of the warhouse?

Yeah I made those arches when i was first blocking out the map and they
never made it to the cutting room floor. Thanks. I'll upload some pics
of the warehouse shortly.

Well, I'm probably one of the few CS fans around here, so if you manage
to get some space to upload it, I'll certainly give it a run-through.
