there, i thought the area protal done this sorta thing.

Yeah, i though i could use it so if the player is inside the
trigger_multiple it closes the area protal which is over the corridoor
so you cant see it, just to try i t out. because if you look in the
second screen shot you can only see half the corridoor, so the
func_areaportals kinda worked.
Ill try the teleporting thing, the only problem with that is you wont
see the people who have allready left the corridoor. I havent really
used the 3d skybox, could i use it to normal scale? so the person in
the corridoor looking out is looking into the 3d skys box but when they
walk out the are teleported into the 3d sky box, if that makes any
sense.

Yeah, the teleport idea might not be the best idea. I didn't think
about people looking out of the door. With a teleport you would have to
come up with some workaround for that.
I'm not too experienced with this. Instead of sticking your hall in the
middle of the board, can you punch a hole in your skybox (for the door)
then have the hall sticking out behind the skybox? That way the sky
would look like it's going on forever, but really there is a hall
behind it.
Sixteen years with a water buffalo and I think it's time to move on.

I havent tried it in hl2 but in the original hl stuff behind the skybox
was still rendered, or i might have been some bad mapping.

Try surrondung the hallway in the toolsBlockLOS texture. Im not sure if it works nor am i sure how to use it, but the name sounds good enough.

I applied it too a block surrounding the hallway but nothing happened,
it was exactly the same. Then i applied it to all sides of the hallway
except the inside ones with the normal textures on them and i could
walk straing through them. I looked into it and it blocks the line of
sight of NPC, so if you stand behind it the NPC wont see you.

Can't you just paint the outside of the corridor with the skybox texture?

No, the sky texture shows the stuff behind it.
I think ive got it to work but its not a very good idea, ive used a 3d
sky box at a scale of 1:1, when you walk through the door you get
teleported into the 3d sky box. Just this might be quite bad on
resourses.

I finally tried out my idea but i doesnt work properly because of the
way the 3d skybox works, if its at a scale of 1:1 the 3d sky box will
not cover itself resulting in you looking into the void.
I have got anouther idea but i dont know how this will turn out, it is
to apply the actuall skybox texture to the outside walls of the hall
way. Like im using sky_day01_06 as my skybox so ill add sky_day01_06up
to the bottom of the hallway.

Sorry, i aint the best at explaining things. Hmmm, how to explain, if
you have seen monsters inc, when they open the doors they see through
to a different place but its just a door and frame, nothing else, that
is the effect im going for. So the player inside the hallway looks out
of the door and he sees the ground a little bit down, when he jumps out
and looks back at the door all he sees is the door and frame like they
are floating there, like what i got in my last screen shot.
The exact thing im going for is the door that goes to the sand area
with the sand worm in the film beatle juice as that is the map i am
making, but not every one has seen beatle juice.
I was wondering if it is possible to make a testure that will make the
brush its applied to invisible and show the sky making the brush look
invisible. Or away to make this effect with the default stuff.
Hopefully that will do it :/
