This sounds like a cubemap issue.
Do you have cubemaps in your map? Did you run buildcubemaps after you load the map?

Just a thought... But those look like they're very minipulated, maybe ither put a light near them or smooth them?

well if that is the same texture as it is in the bright part, then i dont know.
but if it is a different texture, make sure it isnt a texture that was for a model or a prop
the only problem with steam updating things every week is it doesent give the developers an incentive to playtest thier work, so we do it for them

haha, this is probably dr. Glass's place to say this, but i beat him to it, lol. I believe you should post your compile log, i think that may explain some issues. I know it did for me. :razz:
