My latest map, a remake of a cs map I made long ago, css_galleria, has
finally made it through all the playtesting and criticism. Here are
some screenshots and a link to Counter-Server Maps, or the direct
download from my server.

Direct Download:

Background:I made this map in an attempt to have some fast paced action
in a moody environment. I wanted the setting to instill something in
the player alongside the gun battles.

A big thanks to all the forum mods and others who answered my sometimes
newbish questions so quickly. Without the answers I found in this forum
I never would have figured half this stuff out. The snarkpit above all
others had awesome tutorials and great answers to all my questions.
Thanks so much!

If you download it and try it out, please please please post a review on the counter-server maps page.

Thanks again, Xenocide_X.

P.S. Map Description:

Hostage rescue

32 spawns

3 hostages.

Nav file (bots) included

Overhead veiw included

Background: Maintenance personnel stumbled upon a well organized,
heavily armed group attempting to thieve several priceless pieces of
art from the museum. The maintenance crew alerted authorities and in
doing so were captured, and subsequently held as hostages.

Counter-Terrorists: Rescue the four hostages and/or detain the art thieves.

Terrorists: Destroy the police units and make your escape at any cost.
The authorities will doubtlessly kill you on sight, and should you be
lucky enough to be captured, your employer will ensure you never speak
again.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

OMG is my connection not up to the task. 45 seconds+ for the first screen.

What I had patience to wait on looked nice. Perhaps someone could make the screens smaller.
There is no history until something happens, then there is.

Very cool, but I get the impression that some of those spotlights are a
little too focused, a little TOO bright, and a little too white.

Nice architecture. I like the lights, although in the first picture the pillars look a little wierd to me in how they attatch to the roof, the texture seems to stick out to much colorwise.
Reckless disregard for childrens well being, women and nothing but utter contempt for other cultures.
