Well, not comics.. more picture novels.. - I see you have a transmetropolitan avatar now, and figured you had an interest in the series and other DC Comics..

but would you know anywhere online where I can buy pieces from the DC collection? we have a shop or two in the city, but theyre always out of stock or dont have the rarer pieces..

or if anybody else knows for that matter, share your knowledge

Is Mile High Comics still in the business? They used to have tons of stuff and a huge back catalog you could get by mail order. Dunno how well they've faired since the internet picked up speed, though.

Hmm, that'd be international for you though.

do you mean the individual comics or the collections (graphic novels)? you should be able to order almost any graphic novel from amazon.com or bn.com I would think, just like you can in the US. I work at a Borders now, so I just order what I want.. then get it for 33% off

individual comics... not sure. probably best to ask at the comic shop, even if they can't order what you want they can probably tell you some sites to get individual back-issues online.

Transmet kicks ass, I gotta get the rest of them (read vol 1-6 so far). I don't collect many monthlies, I prefer to get the collections once those are out.
