Since I couldn't find the old thread, I just made a new one. Please note that I made this thread because of Riven. It's his idea not mine! :D

Post Your Setup! (v2)

This means, make pictures of your desk, computer, monitor and if you want the surrounding area as well.

Here's mine:

Will soon paint my room again. I don't really like the blue anymore.

Nice crib. Something that always gets me is arm room. I cannot simply dangle my arms off the side of the desk like some can, they need to be resting on something and they need to be level (arms can't be much higher and not lower than my hands).

The monitor seems a bit far away, do you ever strain your eyes when trying to say.. read text?

I'll take some photos later on of my new pc. :naughty:

With 8gb ram. :naughty:

First I wanted to ask what X 530s are, but when I looked them up, I found out you meant my speakers ^^ so yeah they are, only I have 2.1 speakers.

lol it's exactly the same for me. Some time ago I went to play Half-Life on the laptop, but it was almost unplayable since my arms didn't have any place to rest.

The desk is made by my dad in around 10 minutes. Normally he can do better, but this is good enough already for me.

And now that you mention it, the monitor does seem pretty far away, but that isn't true. I can even sit further away and still read the letters on a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

I live in an on-campus apartment, and I have a roommate, but we get separate rooms. -Looks kinda plain-jane right now after actually looking at the images; I've got posters, just haven't put them up yet.

this gave me a reason to clean my desk and computer. I never got around to posting the picture the first time around though.

I know this topic is very old, but my Setup has been changed as of yesterday, here is a photo:

And yes those are manga comics, I used to read this series (Bleach) a lot but now I haven't for a while. I want to get back into it someday.

Hah. Not bad.

I don't know how you guys keep your desk so clean. I consider myself a fairly clean and organized person, but when it comes to my workspace, I almost want to be able to see everything out in the open. Looking at my tools helps get me motivated to want to make things. I love copy holders, because I can angle books and papers towards me. It helps with the whole feeling of being surrounded in one's work which I can't get enough of.

Here are some old pics of my studio setups when I was in school the past couple of years:

And maybe when I get around to it, I'll take a pic of my setup at my apartment.

Oh, I usually don't keep my desks clean either, but this picture was made on the day I changed my setup location.

Nice pictures Riven, I'm curious to see what your setup looks like now :)

Nice Aperture Science glass by the way
