I hope this isn't a stupid question but I was curious how to make a good overview image for my HL1 maps... sort of like the ones made for counterstrike.

Hmm perhaps noclip and fly up and then look down so you get something like an overview? I think this technique has been used before.

I tried that and noticed I couldn't get the whole map in before one portion of the map wasn't visible anymore.

Also, does anyone have a good script for my config that makes the weapon and screen health, etc go away to take clean screenshots. or even to go into noclip. All of my screenshots suck. Wish they weren't created as .bmp so I didn't have to convert them.

Try the same as what I said but now with a higher Fov (Default_fov 120 or so)

You can also change the view distance if I'm not mistaken.

As for your other question, try to find a list with console commands, I think you can find it there somewhere.

Although now that I think of it, it might something like cl_showhud 0

Does this help any?
Now remember kids. Asking questions is a good way to get censored by the government.

I guess the only reason for overviews in half-life 1 would be for HLTV. Not at all improtant since nobody uses HLTV anymore. I will include it with my maps only because it is very simple to create them.
