I have been trying and trying to get these textures to perform and look as they do in the images he posted. I have fail each time.. anyone on here have some tips, advice, or just a good explanation on how to get these to work properly? Thank you in advance for your time and advice.
Thanks for the comment Apparently there is some confusion about my two textures -. this is a dev-water texture with modified colors and fog, the other is an animated, clear the "refraction" are not part of a water texture, but its own animated. So in order to achieve the realistic effect, you must a) use the "Realistic Pool Water" as a water and b) every all under water parts of the pool 1 unit thick, "refraction" set-textured func_illusionaries. In short, the beautiful effect occurs only with a combination of both textures.
