Does the shockroach weapon actually have an alternate fire? I noticed that when I was using this weapon if I held down the alt fire then it makes sounds and it moves around some, but it doesn't do anything. Is it something that was not implemented or is it just nothing?

Also, in the skillopfor.cfg under weapons it has two sets of damage as if it were meant to have alternate fire. The first set has damage set to 10 and the second set has damage set to 15. This is the code:

sk_plr_shockroachs1 "10"
sk_plr_shockroachs2 "10"
sk_plr_shockroachs3 "10"

sk_plr_shockroachm1 "15"
sk_plr_shockroachm2 "15"
sk_plr_shockroachm3 "15"

At first I thought maybe it has different damage for single player and multiplayer, but it has damage code for the three difficulty levels so single/multiplayer would not explain this.

This is the only weapon that has code like this other than the displacer, which does have an alternate fire. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Maybe it IS the difference for Single- and Multiplayer.

I think the source code of HL works in a way that weapons always need to have 3 types of damage for each difficulty, whether it be Single- or Multiplayer.

The Glue gun (that's what it's called right? The powerful blue beam weapon) also has an animation when the secondary fire button is clicked, where it pulls the lever on the gun but does nothing else.

Thank you!

In Hammer it is called the Egon, but it also goes by the name of the Gluon gun. I like your name for it though :)
