The new one shouldn't. Brian Singer has a purdy movie/comic book movie track record.

Also, it isn't Superman V. It's actually starting over (Thank God).

Chrstopher Reeves was an asshole. There I said it.
Don't copy Maddox. Especially if the guy he was making fun of just died.
Actually I knew someone would bring that up. I do go to his site but I have my own reasons for disliking Reeves. I have seen people who struggled through life and finally did something great and helped many people. I'll use an example. There is an actual woman that has adopted 12 kids with many different disabilities. Everything from mentally handicap, a boy with cistic phibrosis, kids with no limbs, etc. She has constantly struggled through life and is not married but she is doing so much for these kids. And then there is Reeves. He never gave any donations before to any handicap kids but as soon as he got into the position he was he instantly made himself look like a saint. It pissed me off because he got so much credit for the push for stem cell research but there were many other people that did just as much but were never recognized. I do feel for him for losing all abiltiy to move but I hated him for making himself look like he was the sole person responsible for stem cell research.
that may be, but it doesnt make the man an asshole. perhaps he's not a superman (great huh??), but he didnt use his money on bumfights or toxic weapon improvement or stuff so what exactly makes him an asshole? just your childish hatred

you know, this whole topic has swayed back and forth from praise to scorn, but in the end none of us truly can say what motivates people to do whats best.

i think, we should either express our condolences, or express silence.. those are the only two truly humane options here.. he died, whatever his motives were in life, he wasn't evil.

The cynical view of Reeve's work only after being stricken by
disability does give me a good idea. Give the world leaders AIDS! I'm
pretty sure a hell of a lot more time and money would be given into
fighting HIV/AIDS and a lot more compassion if lobbyists and
politicians had THAT on their plate.

....just realised that I've read that idea somewhere before, so I can't take 'credit'
