Tis why god made google. Anyway, I dont think there is ANYTHING funny / amusing about cs, its repetitive and very boring --- a awful game.

Not too many CS players around here I imagine, I personally have never played the bought out now Valve retail to get money out of what was intended to be free MOD.

CS is still a free mod.

Anyway, a good screenshot (if you can convince the server to do it) is to build a tower of CTs and have someone take a picture.  We did a Marine Tower on Natural Selection once.  It was great.

bandwidth?

i never understood either, since i successfully downloaded the first 1/2 dozen patches with my 56k ISP

i never understood why others couldn't as well.. even paying for the time online would have to be cheaper than buying the box off the shelf

well, as far as i know CS doesnt sell by itself, ive seen it in a mods pack with HL,TFC,DOD,CS but ive not seen CS packaged alone.

but anyways, ive resently found a way to convert CS demos into windows media files, so im going to instead use a short movie rather then a bunch of SS

thnx for the massive CS bashing though, i really needed that

P.S. horn, if you have SS of that...please post, im acually looking for NS screens too.

I see CS sold by itself all of the time (shouldn't even try to understand the "logic" of purchasing it for $19.95)

CS sold by itself is basically HL minus the SP and with CS already... So it's not like you don't get Half-life at all..

So it IS stand alone?   I figured you would still need HL1 to run it.

CS retail is completely stand alone.

You can play normail halflife deathmatch with it (thru the custom game menu and install mods to it.

I love hearing people rant in forums at how people are stupid because they bought a "free" mod. Yes, whoop-dee-doo, it works with other mods as well, you need a core engine to work with, and that's what you're paying for with any of the main retail packages.
