you saying, its slow because of steam?

you know, VHE works off of your video drivers?

in all probability, you haven't installd the updated drivers yet..

assuming you have nVidia, the detinator ones specifically..

either way, VHE uses the video card specifically, just like HL does..

go get the newest drivers..

no, Its not to do with steam & my drivers are up-to-date & I have an ati radeon

VHE is just acting slow for some odd reason.

mk, Ive now found the bug that stop me from adding steam paths in VHE.

VHE does not accept "@" in the path & your steam path requires your e-mail address as a folder.

Who do I report this to?

Isn't the Steam system so well thought out?

I have no kids and I honestly think I could stand my moldy couch and crappy lamp being burned to the ground...

QuArK is fun, its got some good features to it.

i loaded a map once in QuArk, one of my own construction.. couldn't even recognize it..

quark has its perks, but i honestly wouldn't recommend it for everyone..

i have heard tho, that they addressed the compatibility issues between it and hammer... that sounds cool

it would take about 20 minutes, after one joined a mapping forum to know this answer.. how can anyone be member # 42, and not know..??

it makes me think, "do people actually not comprehend what they see in print?"

dude, do yourself a favor... look this answer up, and edit this question OUT!  it makes my wanna slap you silly ;)

Were you loading a .rmf or a .map? I have had no recognition problems with .map's, although a few bits of texture alignment will be off. .rmf is a VHE format, QuArK has never supported it and probably never will. Besides, why would you want to import a map? If you were thinking it would have been started in QuArK to begin with
