If I were in charge of the movie I'd use actors who noone knows, or are
relatively unknown. People become too focused on the actors these days
and not the character, even if it's a good performance it's still "the
actor". Although, everyone knows Christopher Walken should be the
G-Man, now that would earn my money.

I don't think that Charlie Sheen would make a good Dr Freeman. There, are you satisfied?
As for the DooM movie, I heard it was going to be on the moon, not on Mars, and there would be aliens, not hellspawn. This doesn't make sense because in the computer game you have to literally go to hell and back to stop the invasion. With the aliens they'd have to completely rewrite the whole storyline, and then it wouldn't be DooM... I think people who try to make movies out of computer games are all insane.

Sorry to inform you,
but I read in an issue of PCGame, an article on games to movies, that...
<BLOCKQUOTE dir=ltr style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px">
The rights to make a movie based on Half-Life may have already been purchased. I've forgotten which issue so don't ask. For the UK version, though, I don't know if it is in that issue.

Nah nah m8, they were offered a movie deal but said they'd delay it until after HL3.

I would certainly enjoy seeing Edward Norton as Freeman, I like his
style and he has that satirical and cynical feel to his performances
which is kind of the tone I get when playing HL.
