Anyone ever seen Cowboy Bebop or Invader Zim? I just saw the CB film last night and I LOVE Edward, she is so funny. The section of the film where she is walking around the streets had me in stiches, gotta love it. Are the series episodes as good as this? If so I gotta get me some :smile:

As for invader zim, not sure if anyone will have seen it, its quite a wierd little cartoon about an outcast alien who seems to think his race sent him to earth to take over it, when they actually just wanted rid of him. He has a little robot dog called "Gir" who is totally useless but totally hilarious. Anyone else think he should be worshipped? If you ever get the chance, WATCH THE SHOW. You won't be disappointed...I don't think :smile:

Cowboy bebop is cool, and invader zim rules. Thats where I get my insanity from. Sadly, it was cancelled about a year or two ago. BUT! They have a new nickelodeon channel with it on, and I could always buy some DVDs.

I'm really frustrated that I'm limited to 4 channels, none of which featuring anime/manga. But I like the artwork from manga a lot.

Having a Manga TV show would be really stupid. Looking at comic book scans for about Half an hour? ...

The Cowboy Bebop TV series is probably better than the movie in my opinion. It's pretty good.

And Invader Zim... Best cartoon that ever existed in that cesspool of a television channel. Cartoon Network needs to buy the rights for that or something and air them.

Yea dude... watch the series! It's soooo awsome, and edward comes into the scene a lot more. You even find out where edward came from, who edward's father was, and if whether edward is a boy or a girl - wait - it never clarifies that! grrrr... anyway, it comes on cartoon network monday-thursday nights at 1:30 am. Or you could just go download all the dvs... arrr matey ; )

Vash there is lots of manga stuff on TV from what I hear. And what about films? It isn't just comicbooks.

There are two things you guys are talkin about.. Manga the comic, and Manga Inc. Manga Inc liscences anime and other things... while manga the comic is a graphic novel. A good amount of anime here in america has that flaming 'manga' logo at the beginning, remember?

IMHO, the only animes worth watching are FLCL, Lupin the IIIrd, and to a lesser extent Trigun.

LUUUUUPIIN! hehe love that show! love it love it! In most cases, i hate dubbed anime.. but i think the english voice actor for lupin fits much better than the japanese.. same could be said for bebop

though, subbed trigun is MUCH better... ever hear of Berserk?

Woohoo, zim fans :smile: We have been watching about 5 episodes a day since my flatmate got the DVD, he has 38 episodes in total. Some of the episodes have the coolest names, like "hamstergeddon" or "room with a moose" :biggrin: Its not an official DVD as he couldnt find one of them, its just a rip from the TV that some guy sold on ebay.

According to the interviews on the Cowboy Bebop film, Edward is definately a girl, although she was originally planned to be a boy.
