#1. What a waist of a forum post, does any one care about such a little bairly noticable bug that you happen to point out (ITS NOT EVEN SERIOUS)
#2. The problem probaly is happening because of the camera of the player or the gun being intersected by the waters serface where the change from under water <-> above water is taking place. Just ajust the water to be eather higher or lower than the player camera or dont bother posting.

Actually the newest ATI drivers did fix a lot of graphical problem in HL2. Try them.
This is a valid question, he was wondering if it was the map he build,
or a HL2 bug problem. so you guys cant complain about these posts (you
havent been here long enough  )

Well I installed the latest ATI drivers and it still happens so it looks like a HL2 bug.
And it matters to me because my map needs to have water that deep in
it. A bug is a bug. It doesn't matter how serious it is - it still
should be fixed.

I'd say it's a bug in HL2 - If it only happens when you enter into the water, but the water looks fine from the outside, it isn't being caused by anything you have done. Easiest solution to this would be to make the water at a different height.
