I am tailoring a CD soundtrack for my upcoming wedding in July.
For the processional music, I am using a soundtrack from "The English
Patient", but I need to splice the music to last longer than the
current 1:54.
The problem is that the last time I edited music was more than ten
years ago, and I am out of touch with the latest editors out
there. Any recommendation for your personal favorites?
I am not looking for anything fancy or complicated. I just want
to take one segment of music and duplicate it, and append it to another
part of the soundtrack. And preferably, I want a freeware version.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Forceflow. Audacity worked wonderfully. Even though
I haven't edited anything in more than a decade, I finished editing the
music using Audacity in less than ten minutes.
For those who are curious, the soundtrack I am using is track#9 on the
soundtrack CD for "The English Patient" (I'll Always Go Back to That
Church). It'll be played during the processional for the wedding
party.
