I mean, my origin is on one corner of the door, so that works fine. But
if I approach the door from the other side, the door still turns around
the same corner, making it disappear partly into the adjacent wall.

Add a small number to the "Lip" value, like maybe 1 or 2.

You could also use the one way flag so it will only go that way
