In my map i have a large door in the ground that opens up and an elevator comes up, and a strider is standing on the elevator. The problem is, as the elevator rises, the strider bends its knees all the way down, until they are in the elevator itself, and then the head is attached to the elevator, which is therefore the only think bringing him up. Then when the elevator is at rest, the strider starts walking upward to regain his correct height.
This makes the map look somewhat unprofessional and I was wondering if theres something i can do to keep him moving along with the elevator properly.

a workaround could be to make the elevator as some sort of hook, that pulls the strider by its head.

ok well the push trigger works, so well in fact it managed to toss him up into the ceiling where he proceeded to dangle and not come down. It works but itll take some time.
On the idea about using a hook, thats actually a good idea, i could use an invisible func_brush that is parented to the elevator and in the air. ill try that too.
thanks for the help

ok the hook idea worked. The strider looks a little weak at the knees but its all good.
