here in seattle (the second part of my holiday) i only have access to a pentium 3 490mhz, 128 mb ram, and only integrated graphics. i seriously doubt it will run hammer or have the ability to compile anything. am i right? cause if i am ill have to remove my map until further notice.
but just in case there is a chance ill post.

...Are you asking us if you think it'll run? Because I think the answer is no. Have fun!

That should definitely run Hammer, seeing how my P1 166 mhz + 64 megs of RAM ran it. Maybe not for HL2, though. :o

I compiled my Source maps on a Celeron 1.1 GHz with 256 MB of RAM previously. Sure, it took a while, but it worked.

I've compiled maps at 450 mHz and 128 mb ram, so it will work. It took me several days for a full compile though :X
God got tired waiting all sunday for the world to compile and finaly had it.
On the Eight day, god created func_details, and he saw that it was fast.
