Have you added env_cubemap entities and used the buildcubemaps command from the console?
Are the prop models intersecting with any brushes?

Yeah, make sure the props aren't intersecting brushes or if you
absolutely have to have them lodged in the wall: Make an info_lighting
entity nearby, and have the prop_static use it in its "Lighting Origin"
property.
