Would an american graphics card work in a european pc? I'm not up on
this electricity hokey-pokey, and I'm not sure if the differences in
the mains voltages would mean my computer might catch some sort of
fire. Cheers.

Of course it'd work. It's not like the card, specifically, uses one type of current in the US and another in Europe.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Even if you use a NTSC card in a PAL country?

Hey Tracer, good to be home. Had a lot of trouble getting my
broadband connection back, which was the main reason for my absence,
along with me not doing any mapping recently.
Appreciate the help guys. Thanks for not mocking my ignorance too much.
I purchased an ethernet hub when visiting America before and I brought
it home so I could play C&C Red Alert networked. Funky burning
plastic smells ahoy! I was almost inconsolable.
