following my recent troubles with HL2 my parents have said they may help me to get new graphics card.
now i not going to just upgrade a little, im looking for a 6600 or above (or the radeon equivalent but i prefer nvidia). now i found really cheap cards off ebay but im not sure if it is trustworthy to get a card off there. what suggestions can anyone give? where i should get one? is ebay okay?

<table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" width="100%">
<tr><td class="despre" colspan="2">WinFast PX6600 TD 256</td></tr>
<tr><td class="despre" colspan="2">Pret referinta: ? 115.50 + tax
</td></tr>
<tr><td class="despre" colspan="2">256MB DDR, nVidia GeForce 6600 256MB model, PCIeX16, 8-pipe GPU </td></tr>
<tr><td class="despre" colspan="2">
</td></tr>
<tr><td class="despre" colspan="2">

I would go with a Geforce 6800 GT, they aren't too expensive (around $200-$300) and they perform execllently.

excuse my n00bness, but what is the difference in a GT? plus im forced to go with a pci express because my mobo has no agp slot. im also going to have to upgrade my psu to support a 6800.

if i remember correctly, the GT has 16 pipelines enabled, the plain 6800 has less. that way the GT almost reaches the performance of the 6800ultra, with only the difference in core and memory clock frequency standing. The modest price difference makes it worth buying a GT over a regular 6800
Indeed you'll need atleast 400W or something.
Dunno if they get delivered in PCI-E version, think you can easily google that

well the one i found is not a GT (an asus 6800 256mb) but it is CHEAP. so im just going to go with this one, unless i find a similar priced GT.
