For those of you interested in getting into a mod project. Here is a new and interesting oppurtunity for you.
The mod is based around Graffiti/Gang warfare. It game play will be objective based revolving around team work and actual graffiti. Maps will be in large, explorable, urban enviroments where two crews made up of players will battle off in different modes of play over their turf. We are actually getting advised by one of the largest Graffiti crews in California and plan to stick exactly to how it is on the streets.
We plan for the weapons and gangs to be street accurate, and as for progessing into buying new weapons and equipment it will be done through reputation points rather then money.
So far we have two skinners, two mappers, and a learning coder. We want the team to have fun creating this, and for it to be a learning team based experience. We want to take it slow, have a good time, and to come out with a nice final product. If you're interested in helping us out with the mod, please get contact me at:

If I get flamed, oh well. Theres no point in flaming. A friend told me this would be a good forum to request help in so I did. Didn't know I did anything wrong, nothing in the rules about this. If so lock it, thanks.

Nah, nothing done wrong, just the fact that so many people have idea's
and so few people actually know what they're doing. You'll be amazed
about how many mods fail - about a 99%.

So a good thing would be to show some work done to convince people who
don't know you to join your mod. Friends join easier, but other skilled
people usually have their own maps to work on so your mod has to be
more than just a little interesting for them to join.

Good luck with it, anyway...

Nice text color.

Oh, and for that update, post in the General Banter board. Gets more
visitors, plus this isn't really a mapping question. Not a technical
question.
