Has anyone else been following the CPL World Tour in New York? Their website sucks, because they don't display any news updates on the competitions.

The MTV site is down too. I can't watch any of the live broadcast.

From Nvidia:

$1,000,000 video game tournament hits MTV

32 gamers. The hottest hardware. 10 world tour stops. $1,000,000 cash prize.

The Cyberathlete Professional League?, recognized as pioneers of the professional gaming industry, just wrapped up the CPL World Tour - the largest, first-ever, year-long competitive tour spotlighting the growing new sport of video game competitions.

Sponsored by Intel and NVIDIA, the CPL World Tour began earlier this year in Turkey and traveled around the globe to exotic locales including Brazil, Singapore, Sweden, Italy and Chile. The pro gamers who compete at CPL events are the world's elite - and some of our most demanding users who rely on our graphics processing units (GPUs) to stay at the top of their game.

This year, NVIDIA GeForce GPUs' legendary reputation for stability, reliability and performance was put to the test as tournament PCs endured a grueling tour schedule alongside the pro gamers through countless airports and venues.

Now, the world tour competitors descended upon the new Nokia Theatre in Times Square, New York on November 22 to compete for the largest cash prize ever handed out in a video game competition for one match: $1,000,000!

Be sure to catch up on all the action this Saturday, as MTV recaps the finals:

* "From Game to Fame: The CPL World Tour Finals" on MTV - Saturday, November 26 at 8:00PM Eastern.

So...the result should be out already, no?

I can't find any info about the competition result or the winners.

I found out already. Fatal1ty won the final again. He lost a few rounds toward the beginning, but made a come back and won.

Check out the article above. The Dutch gamer is pretty cool. He was the MVP for the CPL (Cyberathelete Professional League).
