I did a forum search and a thread like this hasn't been made in a long time, with most of them pertaining to a single game, while this thread should be for any game you can think of.

Please share your favorites! Funny, beautiful, whatever, but please post thumbnails only, because image intensive threads are no fun for narrowbanders.

Anyway here are mine (all from WoW because I'm re-addicted to it):

Hope you enjoyed them. If any 56kers want to look at all of them, let me know and I'll post smaller resized images.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Stubbs the Zombie
Black and White 2 (This is just a beautiful game all around. I'm surprised more people don't play it ... or at least they don't talk about it, it's leaps and bounds on the first one)

There's plenty more, but, eh. I'll take some in a week and a half during a LAN, and post them up.

Nice thread morphine, il try and dig up a few Flightsimulator screenshots from online flight session. I should have some from a cross country VFR one somewhere.

BlisTer, I really like the Rome Total War screenshot.

I was wondering, do you think you could post another shot or two of your creature? I'm just want to see more of how he looks.

pepper, thanks. I'm looking forward to the flight pics.

I have some screenshots but they are in a TGA format that MSpaint,ACDsee and photoshop 7.0 ME can't view. Anybody know how can I make Quake2's screenies viewible or take screenies within the game but not with the games screeni taker.

Elon Yariv, the program I used to batch compile WoW's .tga files to .jpg format was IrfanView. It's free and very easy to use, and it's what Blizzard recommended.

I can't wait for Medieval 2  Technically the first Total War sequel, I suppose.

Massive Army
Even More Massive Army

Not to mention, it just looks like a really beautiful game

I love making my creature eat enemy soldiers in Black and White 2. It's funny when the creature stomps down and you have 18 cracked skull symbols float up.

I'm assuming you two love going Evil then eh?

I played B&W 1 a lot, but there were a few annoying bugs that made me stop.

I usually went good too, just because I thought it was easier to run the towns and teach my creature.

No, but I see no qualms about letting your creature eat an attacking army. Especially sense, the point of the game is to avenge your Aztec races demise. Like, both sides of you, Good and Evil, think it'd be just marvelous if you destroyed them in a bloody haze.

I actually spent my time building up "good" quota, I can't figure out how to make people happy though :\ They tell me what they want, I do it, they're still unhappy. Pretty lazy too, I built several grain fields, and they weren't smart enough to goto more than 1. So, they were starving themselves. Morons.

Blister, it wasn't in my range, the army stayed outside my Godly area. And there were no rocks to hurl at them.

As for the problems with the first one, I'd confidently say, they're all fixed in the second one. Especially the problems with controlling your creature. It actually listens now, and there are FAR more modes than just "Evil" and "FreeWill", or whatever the two were in the first one. Black and White 2, however, is much more complex. For instance, you have to stop your creature from crapping in the town's food supply ... unless you want him to and get your entire town sick. Which could be your agenda.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

In B&W I my creature didn't take a dump any place else than the
foodsupply... I beated the living daylight out of it every time it did
it, but I couldn't get the habit out of it. I recall how I played to
the fifth and final map and then getting sick of it... The damn bastard
just couldn't help himself. I guess he had a fetish of sorts...

B&W2 was pretty good, but got tired of it pretty fast, at the end i
just sacrificed a lot of people and threw meteors and rocks everywhere,
it was fun the to see my creature toast the enemies with lightning
though..

my creature always pooped on the citizens...
