I cannot get this model to appear in CS. It works fine in Half Life
model viewer but It wont show in CS! :/ Can you tell me what im doing
wrong? Im using the cycler_sprite entity by the way.. Its a lamp
fixture (s**tty lookin I know..)

here is the milkshape file, textures, and .mdl.

the model is tiny, btw, so maybe it is appearing, but it's just too small to see. or the game won't render something so small.

i know milkshape isn't clear about grid sizes, but one unit in milkshape is equal to one unit in hammer is equal to one inch in the real world, so placing a single vertex somewhere on the grid, and then entering a value in the x,y, or z move options, will give you a better idea of what scale you're really working at.

if scaling the model up in milkshape sounds too complicated, then as a quick fix you could try changing the scale value in your .qc file to 30, and compile again. (i'm estimating that 30 would be about right, though if it's still too small, use a higher value)

no problem. there will be a little box next to my answer, asking you if the answer is right or wrong. as it's your thread, then only you can see it, and only you can mark my answer as correct. it'll turn the box around my answer to blue, and helps with people doing searches for similar problems in the future.

and i get extra snarkmarks :biggrin:
