I recently bought a better graphics card (Radeon x1600 Pro, 256 mb agp version), and now I can enable shadows in my source games.

Now, in the mods, sometimes players cast shadows, sometimes they don't. It just seems completely random. One round in Dystopia, players have shadows, and the other round, they don't. The same goes for The Hidden.

It's pretty weird, I wonder whether I am the only one having that problem.

Other (official) source mods don't have the problem. My shadows in CS:S and DoD:S work perfectly, all the time.

Anyone experiencing the same problem ?

Maybe the maps of the mod have bad shadow settings? I regularely see my shadows going upwards. The shadow_control entity is a mess.

I also have this problem. Sometimes the shadows work, sometimes they dont.
I have a Geforce 6600EN.
