I'll take option 3: Lame.

The patch of six is 1-3 then 4-6, left to right, top to bottom. Then 7+ is the opened menu.

1. Windows Media Player 9 or 10
2. Something Lame
3. Steam
4. Something Lame
5. Something Lame
6. MSN Messenger v.5+
7. Adobe Premier
8. Something Lame

14. BS Media Player (I think)
15. Something s**tty
16. Divx (direct version)
17. Lavasoft AdAware
18. Mozilla Firefox
19. Internet Crap All Over Your Computer and Possibly Explore
20. Mozilla Thunderbird (I can put a link up that allows this program to go to your system tray if you're curious, I find it very useful)
21. Real Bad Player
22. Something Lame
23. I'll Release All Your Information and Send Everyone in your Address Book a Virus Outlook
24. Nero
25. Quicktime
26. iTunes

I think that about sums it up.

I'd put mine up but it's all catagorized.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

It's not really a "Quick Launch Toolbar" anymore once you have like 3 things in it. After it extends beyond the allotted space, it becomes "Start Button 2"

Tis still quicker and better than having all of those on your desktop

You're asking me?

And yes, the Quick Launch bar is still much faster and better than the Start menu or Desktop. I rarely see all of my Desktop... and with the Start menu you have to browse through folders to get to what you want. QL is "teh win" IMHO.
