anyone interested in a Flash Corpse? In the same vein of Surrealism's exquisite Corpse I'm doing a project with a friend at college. Make a 100-200 frame flash animation and pass only the last 10 frames onto the next person. When its done we will have a whacked out animation that fits together in a surreal way

Interesting idea. I have no experience at all using flash though. Is it hard to learn?

Even if I'm not participating I'd love to see the result.

Interesting animation Forceflow.

Great idea. I'm way too busy these days to make a flash animation, but its not a hard program to learn. 100-200 frames isnt much, and this would be a good starter project for someone completely new to the program.

Well, the basic animating (rotating things, moving them around, size, scale, stretch) them isn't very hard. You can learn that from the tutorials that come with Flash.

As for more advanced scenery and user-interaction, you can't get around Flash Actionscript, which can be a pain in the youknowwhat sometimes.

I hardly make any web applications in Flash, but I pretty much like it for animation and the more "arty" style of sites.

Where does the term "Flash corpse" come from? Is it just a better sounding version of "Flash frankenstein?"

my sophomore english teacher liked to do something like that with writing, each person would start a random story about whatever they wanted and write for like 5 minutes and it would get passed around to 4 or 5 other people who added to it for 5 minutes until the first person got it again and had like 10 or 15 minutes to finish it off, some wierd things came out of it

I'd love to take part in this doc, but I just don't have enough time. This is right up my alley too, as I've done and do a fair amount of flash animation at my web design job and in my freelance work.
