Hello all! I'm looking for what I believe to be an old Opposing Force (maybe half-life though) map. I haven't played it in 5 years, but I just adopted an 11 year old and that used to be my favorite map and I would love to play it again. I will describe it to the best of my ability from memory: The map was a fairly large map with great sniper points in what I remembered being a canyon type setup, and this huge crater type of circular hole in the ground that you could walk around the edges (there is a great sniper point to take people out from the top) to get to bottom which had a pond and an entrance to what I rembered to be a bunch of wide stairwells (under one of them had a hidden room amongst a dark area with a lot of boxes) and such. I also remeber a hidden trick where you can push on a soda machine and get transported to the top of a building that went under ground a couple of floors (the building was next to a sandy field which was really fun to just have a "kill" fest in. If this reminds you of any maps and you know the names you will be GREATLY helping me out, because I have been looking for it in my spare time now for over 2 months. Anyways thanks. -Karl

No idea sorry, what area of the map did it center around, the canyon thing as you described it, or a building? might be something to do with the name then, might help in searching for it.
and what does an adopted 11 year old have to do with anything
Hell, is an half-filled auditorium

The "11 year old thing" is because I think that map would be fun to play with him, he's really good and I used to know that map by the back of my hand so I was trying to get a hand up on him. In regards to the suggestion you had, I have been trying to search that way using all sorts of keywords and such. Does anybody know what maps were included or made by sierra and included in the map packs, because I dont think this was a downloaded map, I think it was included in thier particular software package (I have Half-Life Platinum Edition). However it wasnt included in mine. So any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

I never played Op4:DM, so I can't be a help to you
Good luck in your search though, hopefully someone else around here knows Op4 well.

The problem is, although you describe the map in detail, you also describe nothing unique.
I played hundreds of OP4 maps, and actually preferred the game to normal HLDM. Excepting OZDM, it was the bestest mod ever.
Try to describe the map using features more unique... Assuming this map was unique in some fashion.
The best things in life, aren't things.
