After the massive failure that was Bloody Ore I abandoned HL2
completely, but recently I grew bored with HL1 mapping, and dusted off
Source to give it another shot. I'm making a map set in a mine like
Bloody Ore was, but this one will not fail. It's already a good size
and still takes only five minutes for a full compile, because aside
from a small topside area, everything else is underground.
My question to you, is do you want me to post it here, on the Pit, or
reserve a space on my hard drive for it and never let it see the light
of day?
I'm allergic to tequila, it makes me break out in felonies.

Post it up, it can only be made better with feedback, right?
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

You've already accomplished more than most of us as far as making an effort toward HL2 editing.
I think you're being a bit to hard on yourself.
Go for it.
