I click on "my work" and see a high poly model of what seems to be a baddie from gears of war.
Not your work is it?
You shouldn't put other people's work on your site, not even as thumbnails.

I'm not sure if it being to attention grabbing is a bad thing but it could possibly use some softening. I've tried to make each object in the banner represent something, Master Cheif and Banjo Kazooie represent some of my favourite games, the environment on the right represents level design and creating awesome places, the two images from a google search of "Bungie Studios" represent game development etc etc
The overall impression I get is a bit too 'busy': the banner, while nicely made, contains too much attention-grabbing areas. The rest of the site is easier on the eyes though and the content is easily accessible.
A few nitpicks though: the 'my work' link contains an icon that is usually reserved for 'work in progress'. There's also a few spelling mistakes (gamaustra?). Lots of dead links, too, but I assume you'll get that sorted out soon?
