Sven Co-op (HL) POW in the Year 3910

Prisoner of War in the Year 3910
Can you escape the Iridium Fortress?...

You are part of the classified military elite known as Redemption 1. After a failed high priority mission (someone must have sneaked information) you awaken to find yourself a prisoner of war in a uber high-tech maximum security facility.

A more extensive briefing will be given in the mission briefing of the actual level. This is just a little taste of what is to come!

Note: Sven Coop v4.6 MAY be required.

Sven Co-op (HL) The Red Area Sven Edition

This map is a modified version of my single player map "The Red Area" that has been altered for use with Sven Coop. Your objective is to get to the aircraft on the surface while fighting through alien and military rule. Good Luck!

The images used do not reflect Sven Coop play. These are the images from the single player version, simply because the architecture is the same; just new enemies.

*Important: Sven Coop v4.6 is required.

A horde based map inside of a house. Welcome to essentially endless monsters with a constant supply of zombies. Occasionally special more poweful monsters spawn, but mostly just zombies.

Sven Co-op (HL) The Tangent

Beta
You and your friends show up late one day for work. You walk out of the air lock leading back to the transit tunnel. Everything indicates that this will be a normal work-day. If only you knew.

PLEASE NOTE: I only started this map recently, so most of the screen shots are of unfinished areas. Also the back story and theme in general may change drastically overnight, so wait a bit and maybe I'll have some more solid info later on.

Sven Co-op (HL) EverWar

A medium sized map with two buildings for the players to gaurd/hide in, a factory-type-thing for the grunts to spawn from and a tunnel(meant to look like the entrance to the storage facility) for the Voltigores.
Please note that this is a non-walkthrough keep-em-fraggin' type map. There is no goal, so the only way the map will end is if you get sick of it and decide to quit.(but whos going to do that?)

Inspired by 2bases by Sharp.

Feedback is appreciated.

Updated:

Fixed a boatload of lighting issues
Added a turret nest outside both buildings
Fixed a few node graph problems
Added a Robo Grunt spawn point
Added a few extra Human Grunt spawn points
Changed around a few things that nobody will ever notice
Took new screenshots and uploaded them.
Played this in LAN enough times to find and then squash a couple of gameplay bugs.

Sven Co-op (HL) Sweet Home City

Sweet Home City is a medium size Sven Co-Op map that plays in a city.
You start inside an advanced version of Sweet_home3 (HLDM) where you find weapons and armor. Then you have to fight your way through the streets where groups of soldiers and snipers await you. Once you reached the warehouse there are a lot of aliens to take care of. In the end there is an endboss fight ;-) Oh yeah and there are a lot of small details and gimmicks that you maybe wont see beating the map for the first time. Btw: this map was created on the basis of my counter-strike map as_intruder.

Sven Co-op (HL) Medieval

FIXED! It has been brought to my attention that the map was not setup properly for the models so here should be the fixed version. Hope you enjoy it and sorry for the inconvenience!

This is a SvenCoop map set in the Medieval times. This map has swords, spellbooks, and mummies.

Sven Co-op (HL) Shanghai Harbor

This is a chinese themed map for Svencoop 4.

The map has been updated for the contest mappack, this is the final version.

Background:

You are a Special Operations Executive (SOE) of the United States special forces.

Mission Info:

We received word from our agents in China that a document proving a link between
the Chinese Goverment and the maffia can be found within the harbor of Shanghai
where the maffia's base is located.

There have been some strange reports of mutated creatures throughout
the area, possibly the result of genetic experiments by the maffia. Be careful.

Objective:

-Locate the secret passage in the Villa and retrieve this document

-Locate any Bosses/leaders in the area and kill them

-Escape the harbor

Sven Co-op (HL) SC_AVP Mission Set

SC_AVP Is a mission set that almost every one in the Sven Coop comunity has, but yet is not talked about much.

For me, its been my pet project for the past 2 years, and has finaly made its Final status, after 4 update files, and 8 pages of comments, and lots of email and IRC Chats, with players

The 24.9MB Download has 9 maps, and will take you about 4 - 6 hours to complete by your self, and takes about 30 Mins - 1 1/2 Hours online, depending on how many players are on the server

You will need SvenCoop 3.0 to play, and the set is designed for WON, though you can still play it with steam.

Download, and lose your self in the Mission of geting off a hostile planet, before Dawn Breaks over the planet

The set is due to contunie after map 9, but a date for map 10 and on has yet to be thought of

Sven Co-op (HL) sc_persia

This map is heavily inspired by CampaignJunkie's lost map, Nadir.
When I played his map Persia, I was blown away, and I said to myself : I must, I must make a Sven Co-op map with its theme, that's so awesome !

So, in January if I remember correctly, teh first version was available on SC boards, and some weeks later, the second version was up.
Now, 2 months later, the final version is here !

The map is set in a Persian city, Terrorists got a big bad Mecha and want to destroy a big city in teh next 48 hours, so you were sent with your team in the city, and we hope that you will destroy this f***ing mecha ;)

I hope I managed to re-create the ambience of CJ's map, but I'm not a thief, so I credited him everywhere I can ^^

Sven Co-op (HL) Momma Mesa

The government thought Black Mesa was destroyed -- a nuclear explosion in the heart of the deceased military base caused catostrophic damage, but it wasn't enough. Years later, the survivors of the horrors and destruction of the resonance cascade rebuild what remains of Black Mesa.

Being an isolated base in New Mexico, Black Mesa slowly began to rebuild into smaller "partitioned" bases; all of which being privately owned. Black Mesa had become real estate -- any area that wasn't destroyed was snatched up and fought after by the surviving science, security, and even military factions. The strongest leader of these factions, the notorious "Mr. Breeden", quickly took control and stamped out any resistance. His sector of Black Mesa, due to its staggering size, resources, and fire power, became known as Momma Mesa -- the mother of all privately owned Black Mesa sectors.

You, the Sven Co-Op mercenary team, have been employed by Mr. Breeden himself -- to do his dirty work and contain any security breaches in the base. Who knows -- do a good enough job, and you might just see the light of day again.

Sven Co-op (HL) Factions

After seriously wanting to create a defense styled map for Sven-Coop, and having all of my attempts fail miserably due to the lousy setup of the scripted_sequence entity, I came up with the idea of TFC style defense map for Sven. Players must attack and destroy Green, Red, and Gold's Generator, while defending their own and making sure it is not destroyed in the process.
