Half-Life: Deathmatch Hardtek

by DocRock
A quick frag-around a warehouse of sorts.

Half-Life: Deathmatch DM_EyeToTheSky

This level is designed around an observatory. It's a small map good for 1-on-1 fights. I would recommend a maximum of 4 players. This map is my first public release. A waypoint file has been included for the Jumbot. I find that games in this map are fast-paced, and fun.

Half-Life: Deathmatch Eternal

by DocRock
Aztec themed deathmatch map.

Half-Life: Deathmatch Farmland3

by DocRock
Based on my earlier Farmland maps...this one is twice as large as Farmland2...with a huge cornfield to frag in.

Half-Life: Deathmatch dm_Spill

Beta
This was once my entry to the Snarkpit Map competition, but it never did get finished. Set in a metal foundry.

Half-Life: Deathmatch DiscoTime

Beta
Just a stupid little project I decided to do. Im toying with lighting to the max...see how extreme I can make this map with the limited and cumbersome software provided :-(

Half-Life: Deathmatch Exhausted

This level is set in an old-age train station. It's a simple DM map, with no greater mission than killing everyone you see around you. Features some new sounds, models and textures, which -- I hope -- add to the map's quality. Gameplay is quite nice and the map flows well. Some nice wide open spaces with sufficient cover to work well in a good firefight.

Half-Life: Deathmatch Apotheosis (gmdm2)

by Gollum
Star map!
This map has many innovative and exciting features. The theme is an "Indiana Jones" style ancient location, complete with a spike trap and a rolling boulder.

Players can change the layout of the map by shooting parts of it, opening up new routes whilst cutting off others. These "shootable doors", which interact with the rolling boulder, can be quite cinematic! The interactivity of this map is unprecedented, and I hope it will make for some memorable and dramatic games.

The download is a complete mod. installation.

Half-Life: Deathmatch furious

by Nukem
This is my latest deathmatch map. Fast paced with enough players, 14 deathmatch starts, 4 or 5 secret areas. Need feedback! :)

Half-Life: Deathmatch Goldeneye Basement

by Jinx
Small map for 2-4 players. Layout loosely resembles the map from the old N64 game, though I added an extra passage to improve connectivity. This is a redone, retextured version of my first maps. I did a conversion of a simple map because it seemed like a good way to learn.

Why go back and redo this old map? I was bored and wanted to see what I could do to make a fairly plain map interesting using lighting effects and stuff. Also, this map served as a testbed for effects I later used in other maps.

Beyond that, there is something 'pure' about a 2Dish crate map like this. It is simple, but the constraints can shape the gameplay in interesting ways. In the case of HLDM and AHL, the limited space makes grenades, tripmines, etc. much more effective.
