Saw this on another website a few weeks ago. Looks bad. you used the same textures throughout the whole map with some pretty bad lighting

...errrr school bombing.......controversial

Although I think it looks pretty cool.... maybe add a little more detail all over because everything is looking a bit plain lol

Thanks everyone, i've been busy the last week since I go back to school
for volleyball practice tomorrow. But I'll have a lot of free
time then since I won't have class for 3 weeks. Also, the roof
height is proportional to the building height compared to the real
school. It doesn't look weird to me cuz I went there but everyone
else thinks so, i guess I could change it. Also, the brick
texture on the wall was taken directly off of the buildings at the
school and is also the same proportion as real life :-/ I am
de-squarifying, dirtying, and adding details at the moment too.
About the chairs all being "knockoverable", they all are so I don't
know what that was about. Anyway thanks for the constructive
comments. I'll be getting to work more in a couple days.

make all chairs knock-overable. add fog to this setting, a goodly amount, too. this makes it creepier especially when there ARE no kids around and its got like an empty commons area with a whistling wind sound. make sure you do a LOT more work on this before its release though. There is no call for "orph style" reviews if that means being mean. If it DOESNt mean being mean, then go ahead!

<DIV class=quote>
<DIV class=quotetitle>? quoting RByers</DIV>
<DIV class=quotetext>Wouldn't it be bad if the highschool saw this? Like the administrators?

Especially with the columbine shooting and such...

</DIV></DIV>

speaking as a parent who put 2 kids through school, if any admin personnel where they attended could not distinguish this game from real life, i would push to have them removed from their position.

how can people expect children to learn fact from fiction, if a school admin cannot?
i have seen death and carnage in a church map, i bet the pope understands the difference.

but it's still rad!

d(^_^)b

EDIT:

Make it a little messier, put in some bottles and stuff strewn about
the ground. what the guy said about chairs under desks, like have some
just laying around. also, have some like, books on the ground near the
bookcases.

Yus, and when the map is completed after Orph style critiques you can Orphorize it.... haha... yes.
