I mainly intend this source file to be a teaching tool for helping mappers learn how I achieved certain effects. However, feel free to use this source as you see fit. If you want to include parts of Island17 in your map, that is OK. Just give credit where credit is due.
I have been running this map on my server since I started it up 2 months ago. It has a good mix of openness and tight spaces. I have a 12 slot server and it fills up everytime this map cycles around! The only real bugs are the ones Valve needs to fix and the wall under the peer that you can walk into and hide.
This is a really awesome level wow it looks soooooo good and it will never make you dull. hmmmmm i love it, dont change anything it rocks and so it should stay the way it is. make more maps like this one, i hate shady dark maps, thats why this one is cool.
still a great map maze man. i wish i had had time to critique it before its release, i noticed a few things i would have mentioned in one. none blatant errors though.
i just wish that annoying water sound would not happen, i can always count on my power running to not function when its doing it.
I don't think that the sound goes away when you go underwater and get out. However, your suit will charge up again.

The trick I hear is to go back in the water and when you come out again the bug is gone. Also, its not just sound, the HEV energy also acts as if you are underwater with this bug.
I have played this map more than any other user made HL2 map thus far. My only complaint, if you die in the water, you retain the water noise till you quit.
If anyone knows how to circumvent this annoying thing, please post it.
My friends and I have found a possible bug where the 'underwater' sound you hear when you fall in the sea continues after respawn, until you disconnect and rejoin. Don't know if this is specific to the map or it's a HL2 problem.
Otherwise, we're enjoying it. Probably the best user-made map I've played yet.
