My bad, I just zipped it up and pointed the DL to the Zip.

First step to get people to download your map is to ZIP it- I ain't downloading no raw BSP, foo' :mrT: An unzipped AIM map doesn't exactly ring (good) bells in my head to be honest. Though I look forward to what Cassius has to say.

I'll check this out when I get home. Yes, you are being out of line telling us what we can or can't review, but I'd rather not turn another thread into a fight.

I can give you screen shot after screen shot in the world, but if you're not going to actualy play the map, your feedback is completely useless. I'm looking if the map "got game". All the eye candy in the world can't save a map that isn't fun.
So Orpheus, are you going to play the map? Or are you going to just Troll the thread?

[Edit] I posted in the dead of night, you could have been Player #1 in source Orphrus! also and I think the dl counter won't count downloads from my site.

Really?

/me watches download count. anyone wanna lay odds on being told how they will be allowed to comment?
/me puts map on watch list

[edit] coolness, the count is "ZERO" so i ain't missed nothin yet.

who's to say there's no-one who's willing to try.
You're overlooking something; it's not enough for people to try it,
they should like it aswell. And most people here have seen loads of
disappointing aim and fy maps already, so one more isn't going to make
much of a difference if it doesn't step-out of line in some way.

What you need to understand though (before you go bitchy with criticism) is that AIM maps are so small, and the maps always appear to have been built in under 30 minutes! If you spend a month making one you should be able to produce a lovely looking AIM map! I've considered doing one myself just to show that AIM maps don't have to look horrific!

I know this isn't a big AIM map site, but who's to say there's no-one who's willing to try.

As for screen shots, you're right... I will eventuall post them, but not just yet. I want actually feed back from people who PLAYED the map, not the ones who'll just bitch about a bunch of screen shots.

No offence, but no ones gunna download an AIM map on this website  Most people base thier download from screenshots- its an essential part of advertising. I even base it on screens, and it takes me 30 seconds to download any 5mb map!
