Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Dm_Cloudcity

After about 14 months, the map is finally "finished".

For you guys who havent heard about the map before:
The map takes place in a futuristic city high enough to reach above the clouds.

One thing that i really miss is that very few people actually write stuff about how they did their maps, and how they thought when they did them. So I wrote one myself called "the story behind dm_cloudcity"

The textures is partially made by me, partially by Skurmedel, partially by Teddybear, partially by Valve, and partially by IZaNaGI.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch dm_aos_kk_the_room

This map was upon request of snowforskate. Hunting season is not quite over but, I was able to kick out a map. This is my map...no one else's. I have had good reviews on it...check it out.

Its a rats map, kindof like a college type room or a single guys room... there are secrets as in all KK'd maps. Find them and have fun.

All of the textures are made by me. The pix are from an artist who's name is left on them.

The bottom bunk is actually made for {(.:A.o.S:.)}Pain3.
The top bunk is for my buddy {(.:A.o.S:.)}Stinger.
The rocket-whore light is for {(.:A.o.S:.)}DeathFromAbove.
The shoebox is for {(.:A.o.S:.)}AnOldShoe.
The spike are for every-non-clanmember out there! LOL

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch dm_necessity

In the oppressed City17, abandoned train terminals offer refuge from the domination of the Combine. By necessity, decayed structures and detritus of the past will be used as cover in a last-ditch battle for survival.

This highly connected map provides a combination of close-quarters and semi-open combat with z-axis potential. It is intended for 2-6 players.

It has 2 bunkers on each side of a beach. The bunkers each include stock-up rooms, fully automated airlock, camera room, alarm button in the camera room, buggy garages, and a neutral base with a secret inside. I will post more info as i get farther in the map.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch dm_spoorloos

This is a map of my home & a part of the surrounding enviroment, which is a central bus / train station with some parking lots here and there, and a lot of trees.

There is one main building, Spoorloos, where I live. It's a squatted storage space / office complex, where a foodbank, giveaway store and music sessions are hosted, as well as providing living space.

The train station lies directly next to Spoorloos. There is a trainyard on the other end of Spoorloos where trains are driven to to be repaired or to wait for departure the next day.
There is a train station complex on the station grounds, where people can lunch in a cafe, take a dump for 20 eurocents and wait in a hall when they're too much of a pussy to wait outside. There is a bike shop directly underneath this building.

Next to the train station complex and on the other side of the rail are parking lots for train passengers. On the other side of the rail is also a row of houses, all along the street.

In front of the train station complex is the bus station. This is the place from where you can go anywhere in this city. There is lots of lightning in this area, so even at night everything looks as if it was day, except with that nightly gloom over it, you know.
In front of the bus station is a big construction yard where they are currently working on a 10 floor office or something. Next to that construction yard is a big yellow appartement flat, with another parking lot in front of that.

Beside that parking lot, next to the trainyard on the other side of the perimeter, are the supermarket & snackbar and some houses.

Overall the map is pretty huge and still needs to be worked a lot on, but Spoorloos is hard on its way to become digital!

This map is an experiment with lighting and phsyics, and geometry most of the skills i used to make it were actually learned here at snarkpit thanks to the great tutorials!!

this is a multi-purpose map for experimentation with source.

it includes, a large cannon for objects,
a set of defensive postions on the outside area
a maze
admin (secret) passageways. half of the level is an admin sector, which not impossable to access, is difficult to w/o cheats.
infinate falling exploding barrells from the sky.
and a still under development wasterscape area... each colored door leads down a diffrent hall into a different type of envyroment

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch The_Real_Killbox

I played a map called killbox eariler this week, descided I needed my own version with my level of detail.

learned a couple new entities (not many)
and it was good practice, I noticed with the more practice it takes increasingly less time to do brushwork on a map.

tried to pay attention to texture alignment and how well they go together.

just needs some sound, small tweaks, and it'll be ready for release
but before I do, if anybody has any idea's they'd like to see this map utilized for let me know.

Has cannons like my "halls_of_chimera" map but they are rotated at a 45 degree angle to encourage some distance when shooting rather than simply straight up and down.

tried to resymbol the HL2 Combine vs Rebels Color theme.

2 spawnpoints, and a pretty much symetrical level...

still working on the gameflow though.
and theme issues.

I got the idea of this map from the cs 1.6 map cs_monopoly. This map has all custom textures that i made. It is VERY small with 10 spawn points, 8 weapons, 10 health kits and 10 batterys. As always please report to me any bugs you find in the map and comment on it good and bad things.

this map was originally an example map for a mod, i never intended it to be a released DM map. since i moved on to something else, i decided to make it into a DM map. its bascily a small apartment filled with a bunch of physics props to accomidate for its close quarters fighting. a very small but fun map, download and have fun.

and yes, the name did come from the song "Stinkfist" by Tool.

This is one of my landscape projects I am currently working on. Its Opera house lane in Wellington, NZ. The concept is to take this unused forgotten space, alley way, street, and turn it into a more viable sustainable, safe place.

Untill The 420 Crew Invaded and held the Bars Hostage.

2 huge bases with 3 floors, 2 underground roads to 2 jeeps and a big feild to fight on. Lot's of ammo, lot's of explosions and running. This is a TeamDM map.
