Half-Life 2: Deathmatch dm_karma

This is my first dm map that i'm intending to release to the community. I have designed maps for HL1 SP, but only for personal use. This is just an early stage of what the map will look like after a few days of work. Dont mind the lighting I just stuck some lights in there to get an idea of what it'll look like in-game. I may enter it into the valve DM competition if im satisifed with it.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch BlackMesa2

TSSThorn: This will be a map of Black Mesa from Half-Life. Of course it will look a bit different, lol. There will be extra areas to enter that were not in the original Black Mesa. You might even be able to spot the G-MAN somewhere. There will also be tons of traps and secrets, some hard, some easy to find. The finished version will have almost every object breakable, so be careful. I am also thinking about making the test chamber useable, that way players can go to the alien world, Xen. As soon as I get my site up you can expect there to be pictures and updates on this map. As soon as I get 50% of it done, I will release a downloadable beta version. I am hoping TSSTopSniper and I can finish it by the release date, however, it is not guranteed.

Update: Keep in mind, these pictures are not the final version. TSSTopSniper and I will be editing alot to make it look better. You can see more screen shots at my site.

TSSTopSniper: Hello all Half-Life, especially 2, fans. First off, TSSThorn and I both are working on Project:BlackMesa2, and we both question, explain, and discuss all types of problems, glitches, secrets, etc., and we both are working on Project:BlackMesa2 to our fullest. We are also finding all sorts of querks(minor errors)[not dictionary definition of course], in the map and we are working on this map and others following to allow players the enjoyment and adrenaline-rush feeling of fighting other players around the world in a never before done map of Black Mesa, with extras added in, for example, we are making, quote,"...well...I'm really not at liberty to say. In the meantime...", end-quote, just do whatever it is, or was, that you did while waiting for Half-Life 2 to finally arrive. Just like Half-Life 2, TSSThorn and I are aimed at providing the most thrilling and fun-filled Half-Life 2:DeathMatch map that will...well...quote,"Feel like...old times,"end-quote. Oh, one last thing, if anyone wants to fight me in Half-Life 2:DeathMatch, I usually can be found on servers such as www.digital-resistance.com server, Tal3n ' s HL2 DM server, D.O.A. server, or other servers like servers' with the name,"Half-Life 2 Deathmatch,". Set on a cascading set of dams somewhere in europe. Dams are no longer full and are slowly drying up. Destruction has plagued the area along with the menaces of society so hence the dam has fallen beyond repair.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Kill Box Reloaded

Yet another Kill Box remake. I started it before finding out many others were being released. After seeing the others and how they differed from the original, I decided to release mine feeling it was the closest to the original.

Not for everyone, but for those who loved the original kill box, this should bring back that same fragfest feeling.

Hey guys, working on a map. I wanted to make something for dm only, keeping dm in mind, I wanted more of an open bootcamp feel over the clustered overlook and lockdown maps. So far I've only got one large room and some halls leaving it, no weapons or anything and you may see some glowing while funny looking thing on the ground, that is just me playing with func_physbox.

This map will be somehwat like the Facility map from James BOnd goldeneye for the nintendo 64. I will make my verson as well as the game verson for this. Later if the map works out fine i have drawn out plans for a addition to the map and maybe a single player level almost like the n64 verson. Later if that is popular I may even make the enterior game who knows.

Piff, A small map for deathmatch pleasure =)

This is a small-medium sized map, good for less than 10 players.
It was originaly made for LAN play, but works good on the net too.
There is no special themeing, it's just made for fun.
There should be no technical problems with the map (except the ladders, i decided to screw them for now since they aren't essential for the gameplay).

This map is stilll being made and i havent even got more than one spawn point yet, its based on the office map for cs but with an extra floor and loads of office furniture like tables, pc's ect. There will be several more rooms on the ground floor than in cs and a lift conecting it with the 1st. the first floor will be mainly open but with lots of tables, blocking the stairs means that the floor is holdable but once the enemy are in it will be allot harder than if the furniture was still there. The roof will be accessablefrom inside aswell as from outside.the map will be as if the office was raided by the combine, with a few destroyed tanks and lots of ruble.

Dodgeball!!! Play with teams, free for all or make up whatever game you want using equipment from the store room!

Update: Changed the ball (thanks for the suggestion, Lep) and added a store room containing 4 barrels and 3 more balls. The barrels can be used to posts or whatever, do whatever you want!

Any more suggestions are welcome :)

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch prison_grav

This is my first map ever, and will be very crappy in the beginning. I plan to create something functional and find out if it is fun, and then make it pretty. The basic Idea is Cell-block type rooms around the perimiter (players spawn in these). Each room will have different types of projectiles for the gravity gun. There will be a pit-like arena in the main middle portion of the map. One challenge will be designing the map so that the cell-block & hallway areas are fun too.

Update: I got online with it and had some fun. Unfortunately my machine lags everyone out pretty bad once I get more than 5 people on the server

Note: Screen2 is newer than the version available for download. I started from scratch and the version I'm working on isn't playable yet.
