Counter-Strike Story/Synopsis

This question is for CS: Source only.

When the map first loads, the official maps all display the background
synopsis of what's taking place--i.e. hostages held in the office
building, and the SWAT team needs to rescue them.

How do I type in my own synopsis for my custom map? I tried
Googling for the tutorial, but I couldn't find any. However, I do
remember seeing how to do this a long time ago. I just can't
remember the website now.

In the maps folder, create a txt file with the same name as the map. Write the description in there. Use one of the other files there as a template to make it look more professional.

Snarkpit has been really perky today. Faster than usual but on occasions I have noticed discrepancies in posting times. Something I know took moments, comes up minutes later.

And it's so easy to do too.

I did search for it, except that I didn't know which keyword to use. What do you call those things anyway? Synopsis? Storyline? Background information?

Anyway, I searched and didn't find that thread.

Those three keywords (Especially synopsis) is the last words i would use. Map details, briefing, map information, whatever.

Anyways, the thread THAT long down that you had to use the search bar :razz:
