i dunno about the rest of you, but many times i have lost hours of work, mostly cause i failed to save, but the bottom line is, hammer is occasionally unstable enuff to lock up..

well it just locked up on me and radeon (via the omega drivers) just reset my card, and i didn't lose anything

if your card doesn't have this option, look into it, it saved my ass, i had just saved my work about 3 minutes before, but still, with a map this big, i would have had to backtrack a bit to find where exactly.

radeon just acquired another fan

i have noticed a very sad fact, my new card is miles beyond my old card, but HL still acts the same, i hate to be this right, when i am right, but now i know, r_speeds still matter  don't ever let anyone say otherwise.

Honestly Korn? it must be a computer specific thing, because I first saw it when my friend was playing CoD. the screen locked up but suddenly this little window appeared saying that the card had been reset because of an error. I was extreemly impressed, but I can't help but think that fewer errors occure with Detonator drivers...

Its CoD m8. the ati problem is well documented. All you have to do is roll back to catalyst 3.7 until they fix it in the next update.
