There are sdefinitely some good moments here. TF2 is especially looking awesome. Also the last video for HL2 ep2 is mouth watering.

Yea that hut exploding is amazing. I also think the vortigons could be cooler than I thought. Portal looks like it's exactly the kinda mindf**k I'm looking forward to. I can't believe these three games com in one package. It brings back memories from Valve's glory days.

Hot damn, I wish I lived in Germany. It looks like somebody there got to play portal.

Episode 2 vids 1 and 2 look great, you finally get vortigaunts as allies, and they get some new moves. Plus you have light-emmitting enemies, which could add something to enemy response setups.
In vid 3 it looks like combine can throw back grenades, that could be very annoying.
Vids 3 and 4 have great atmosphere, but I'm wondering how poorly that wide open landscape will run on my computer, even with heavy fog. The buggy seems to have a grenade launcher in vid 3, but it might be Gord throwing it. Zombies seem to have learned a new trick as well.
Vid 5 finally gets some exposure for the tripods. They seem to be less powerful than antlion guards, and more powerful than a few combine. Good thing AR2 alternate fire dissolves them, but a normal death looks suitable, more expected than a Strider's.

EDIT
Yes, Portal is looking to be a veritable mindf***

I could see Team Fortress 2 becoming the next UT, as far as hilarious violence is concerned.
Also change the texture of the dock. Docks are rarely tile. -Facepunch

Yea, and somehow I feel like it's a bad time for updating graphics cards. There are so many so different ones and all so incredibly expensive. I want to make my next card something Unreal 3 capable but it always takes a while for a next gen graphics card to crystalize.

Yeah, these look incredible.. that house exploding blew me away. If you look carefully you can see how everything gets blown apart, then some chunks of wood fall from the ruined structure, etc.. and they fall on lower parts, damaging those (wood splinters out from underneath falling chunks).. total interaction.

The preview of the new lighting system is excellent, I can't wait for that (dynamic flashlight shadows). I also loved the soundtrack in the first video, fighting the antlions. The vortigaunts seem really cool, I never thought they'd be very fun to fight along with, but... he seems really fun to play with.

Can't wait can't wait...

Alright, in the first video when the vortigaunt grabbed the antlion and punched it with a fist full of green energy...

hot damn.

Also, I feel like the bugs explode bigger now.

Watching those trailers makes me think that episodes 1 and 2 are what HL2 shouold have been in the first place. They just look so much cooler.

That's true! They bring back some of the fun from HL1 that I actually missed in HL2. HL2 was dead serious at times while Episode 2 (especially the vortigons) looks like the kind of weird but cool gameplay that I remember from HL1.
