Iron Grip looks very interesting (downloading it now). Eternal Silence was cool, but I don't see my self playing it very often.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

<span style="color: white;">Iron Grip lags like hell to me and it gets boring after a short while. Eternal-Silence has a bit too little content in it and it's still in its infancy and it too gets boring quite quickly(mainly due to the lack of content).

I'd vote for Empires. It has far more features than ES or IG and it plays far more smoothly compared to those two(I know some of you may have bad experiences from the first four versions, but the lag has been gone for quite some while). If you decide to try Empires here's something to remember:
Right installation order:
1.0 Full installer
1.07 Patch
1.071 Hotfix
Then check that you have HL:DM installed.

One thing I like a lot about Empires is that you can customize vehicles quite heavily along your own needs and that there's the experience aspect in the game(you get to choose skills every time you get promoted). Also the maps are varied and require different tactics from your commanders.

The only thing that's currently lacking when compared to ES and IG is the graphics department(some models are a bit ugly), but they're being improved(next patch has new models for some guns and mines). Oh and PLANEs are coming for the 1.1 version.

It this competion going to be held in 2008

Anyway I was going to vote for seven co-op but then I thought, Its a nice mod but there is no challenge. I have a look at eternal-silence and some other MODS mentioned then I vote.

Speaking of MODS is there any way I can post pictures Of my MOD. Its time to reveal a bit more I think.

While I highly doubt that it'll be an actual mod (cough 200 maps
isn't a mod) you can use www.imageshack.com to upload photos/stuff.
