Hey, i first made lockout from halo 2 as some of you might know allready. You can find it in the maps here. I made it to prove my cousin wrong that i could make it. I was my first map i ever made so i had alot of noob mistakes but none that i havnt been able to get information on to fix.

ANYWAY

I want to remake all the of the halo 2 maps and make it into one map pack but i need help doing this. If anyone is interested in getting in on this, we can decide who does what maps. Thanks Alot.
You just wasted 7 seconds of your life reading this and yor not getting them back. Ha-Ha.

Arron_da_killa might. But I think for the most part people here wouldn't want to put their time into halo map recreations. Because:
Half-Life 2 Game Play != Halo Gameplay

I'd give it a couple more days to see if anyone else responds. I imagined aaron_da_killa would jump on this too, but I suppose he's tied up with his mod: Reddawn or whatever it's called.

I believe though, that people would be willing to help you more if you actually completed your first map (which I think is a little ways from being finished).

Complete that first, then you'll hold a little more respect from others to undertake such an ambitious project... But don't let that prevent you from doing it yourself. (Wouldn't that be more fun anyway?)

Ya i agree that it would be more fun to do on my own, however since ive only been mapping a few months, i still have aot of things to learn that are needed forsome halo maps.

exploding barrles, conveor belts, moving blocks, etc.

Plus starting a map pack "team" will help me meet new people that are interested in mapping and i always like meeting new people.

As far as finishing my first map, your right that i should get it more up to date but i dont think that it will ever truely be "finished" thx again and ill be sure to message killa

Hello snarkpit-reptiles. I cant stay long because I got to much work to do. However,

Smerf!!!! Nice to hear that you are making Halo2 maps. Have you downloaded the two new ones yet? Anyway, if its multiplayer It can be done easy. If its single player its a bit harder. Half-life 2 Is so different from Halo's (sweet) gameplay. If you could make the zombies hold weapons, and where able to jump and make them more unpredictable than it would be easier. However you can still get Half-life 2 to play like Halo. Its called coding and downloading that massive Hl2 sdk thats like 600 mbs and is taking me for ever and ....

My next question is it for source? I mean Is it for Half-life 2, Half-life 1 What?. I am only experienced with working for Half-life1 and mods but when I'm done, I'll move onto half-Life2 Episode 18 or what ever it will be when my mod is done. I hear that HL1 and HL2 is not that different to map for. But I'll gladly help in some way, if you like. I do have all the half-lifes (Yes I finally got HL2 and it kicks ass. I'm playing it on hard and am up to "black mesa east" where I have to play fetch with dogg.)

So let me clear up, I'm asking two things:

1) Is it Multiplayer, Singleplayer what?

2) What for? Half-life2, Half-life 1, Counterstrike????

I would also like to say that it is nice that I have a Halo reputation  and that to people recommended me, Omega and Riven. Good on ya. Oh yeah, Riven my thingy thing is coming asap. Ok I haven't forgotten or lost interest. .

Now let me finish with my new found talent of posting pics. "I'll see you soon" ( ). I'll be back before you know it. Mabye like 1/2 weeks.

And Smerf, about the noob thing. Incase if you almost give up mapping because you think you suck at it, dont give up. You'll get better over time. I would say that I got expert status in less than a year of mapping for hl1 (its not bragging if its true). You should see some of my first maps. LOl. Oh dear.

So what ever you want me to do, I'll help you man. Now back to the pic.
