I got kicked off of a server earlier today, something to do with football, and my ping bulging out. At least the online translation thinks so.
Original kick message
warte ein bischen bevor ins spiel rein kommst, da baucht sich der ping ab. versuchs nochmal.
translation
wait bischen before in this pass the ball walks in, there bulges out ping. versuchs over again.
Is this accurate, and if so, wtf sort of mushrooms are in season over there?

Online translators can be great for a laugh, but sadly they're useless when you need them for something even remotely serious. I wonder if anyone actually uses them. :heee:
The message says something like "please wait a little before joining the game, so that the ping lowers (or something like that. no idea what <baucht sich ab> means and neither does my dictionary...but what the heck COULD it mean?). try again", so yeah the translation is totally worthless.

I thought it was calling me a bitch. I'm pretty sure it's the same word that I had in a bind I used in an admin_make_silly_vote plugin thing. The bind set up a vote, asking if we should slap (the last person I'd looked at) around like a bitch. I remember there being some discussion between the german admins, as to the best way of translating this for me, and I'm sure they settled on bischen. So, it would probably be in the right context, too.
